    The cost of the site or plot in Bangalore varies depending on the various factors. Also, the growing inflation significantly impacts the price. Based on Bangalore’s current real estate trend, I have come with the approximate cost. The actual price may swing 10% to 20% on both sides.

    20×30 – 25 Lakhs*
    30×40 – 35 Lakhs*
    40×60 – 50 Lakhs*
    50×80 – 70 Lakhs*

    Remember that the location of the plot/site affects the price. The above price is the average cost you find in the many areas in Bangalore. If you look for a property in a high-demand location, the price may go up.

    *Note: These are tentatively assumed site costs currently prevailing on the city outskirts.

    The real estate cost to buy a site or a plot in Bangalore varies from Rs 2500 per sq ft mainly on the city outskirts and upwards of Rs 10,000 per sq ft if it’s located near a prime location.

    Before you finalize the right site dimensions from the various options like 20×30 30×40 30×50 40×60 50×80 you need to be firm on your budget and requirements. This helps you plan well and complete your house within the planned budget.

    Say, if you have a total budget of 1cr kept aside for building your house, including the site purchase, then it’s advisable to keep aside 40 to 60% of your Site/Plot purchase and the balance 50 to 60% for house construction.

    Once you shortlist the site before any confirmation, it’s advisable to meet an Architect to see if the plot orientation and dimensions meet your requirements. In some cases, the Architects may even propose a draft plan for nominal fees;

    This would help you decide whether to proceed with this site or look for another!
